Presidential Search Timeline

The Presidential Search Committee will be named in November and meet for the first time in December when it will be charged and begin its work.

The next phase in the search will involve gathering feedback from key stakeholder groups to inform the leadership profile, include listening sessions at each university location, and virtual listening sessions in December. It is our hope that the leadership profile will be finalized in December and WittKeiffer will begin recruiting candidates for the position.

The committee will spend January through March aiding in the evaluation of candidates, helping cultivate the pool, and interviewing candidates to recommend to the Board of Governors as finalists.

The search committee's goal is to conclude by April 2025, when the Board of Governors will appoint the 22nd President of Rutgers University.
